Multimedia Internship on Educational Inequality | Erica Kitzmiller

Erika Kitzmiller, a faculty member at Teachers College-Columbia University and a Penn alumna, is looking for a student to assist her with video production and web site development for a project on educational inequality.  The project, The Roots of Educational Inequality, is a book-length manuscript that examines the political, social, and economic factors that contributed to the escalation of inequality in Philadelphia’s public schools with a close examination of one of these schools, Germantown High School.  Erika has filmed over 100 oral history interviews and would like to feature these interviews on a web site to accompany the book.  She is looking for a Penn undergraduate with experience in web site development and video production to assist her with this work. The intern may do this in New York City or some other location. Funding could be possibe through this program.
