Penn Program for Public Service Summer Internship

PPPS is a 12-week summer internship program through the Netter Center for Community Partnerships at Penn consisting of:

 

  • A seminar in Urban University-Community Relations with the Founding Director of our Center, Dr. Ira Harkavy, that culminates in a problem-solving learning paper where students write proposals for how to tackle pertinent issues in the Penn/West Philadelphia community (free course credit)
  • A 35-hour internship in one of our summer programs at one of our partner schools in West Philadelphia (paid internship)
  • Free housing for the duration of the program (5/30-8/11)

  • Tuesday, December 13th, 5-6pm
  • Wednesday, January 18th, 5-6 pm

Both are held in the Class of 1965 Conference Room at the Netter Center (111 South 38th Street, 2nd Floor)
