Baumgart Lab

Welcome to the homepage of Dr. Tobias Baumgart and his research group. We are primarily interested in the biophysical properties that define the composition and function of lipid bilayer membranes, which we study through a variety of approaches generally based within the large and diverse field of microscopy.

Use the links at left to learn more about some ongoing projects, check out some of our instrumentation in the Center for Biomolecular Imaging, or see a "who's who" of the lab!
