Caroline B. Bishop (BA, Greek and Roman Studies, Rhodes College, 2005; MA, Classical Studies, University of Pennsylvania, 2007) is a graduate student in the Department of Classical Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests, broadly speaking, currently involve readers and readings in antiquity. She is especially interested in the reception of canonical texts in the ancient world through commentaries and allegoresis.

She is currently working on a dissertation prospectus on Cicero and the commentary tradition. She is also serving as the President for SASgov, the graduate student government of the School of Arts and Sciences.
