I was born and raised in the East Bay Area (Alameda, then Fremont), cut my teeth on Sanskrit and west coast punk at Berkeley in the early '90's, then off to the snowy Michigan where I discovered the autoharp and developmental psycholinguistics. I'm now in the city of brotherly love, but dream about the Pacific.
