Beginning Fall 2008, I will be an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social and Decision Science at Carnegie Mellon University.

Research interests: Psychology and Economics, Design and Analysis of Economics Experiments, Judgment and Decision Making, Social Norms, Emotions.

I have recently conducted experimental research on how emotion expression affects individuals' punishment and fairness behaviors in economic exchange, and the effects of sanctions on trust and cooperation. My current research builds on those findings and investigates the effects of emotion expression and  social norms on individual decision-making.
