Individual oral tutorial sessions

Have a conversation with your tutorial 老师 about

1.      The transportation system of Philadelphia. You can make up information if you are not familiar with Philly’s public transportation system.

2.     Compare Philadelphia’s public transportation with that of your home city (xiāng) or another big city (New York, Boston, San Francisco etc.). Make sure you use ” or “一样”.

3.      Give directions (You will be shown a Septa transit map, give directions from point A to point B.)

4.      Ask your 老师2-3 questions about the mode of transportation that he/she usual uses; e.g. 你常常坐地铁吗?

Homework: 1) Do character practice sheet (handout); 2) Study vocabulary: do "matching" on course website
