I am a fourth year Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Pennsylvania in the department of Earth and Environmental Science. My current research involves the delta 18O & 13C analysis of modern and fossil wood cellulose to understand how well a ratio of the values pinpoints the climate zone from which samples come (at the time the cellulose was formed).
