Welcome to my website!  I am a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania.  I graduated from Penn with a MA degree in the Philosophy of Science and Mathematics and am continuing graduate work in Mathematics.  My current research is primarily in the area of ancient Greek mathematics.  I am also interested in the history and philosophy of mathematics in general.  In the area of physics, I am studying early quantum theory and the Manhattan Project..

I am a non-traditional student at Penn.  I worked in engineering after studying Physics in college.  After a number of years in industry I returned to school for graduate work.  I found my true interests lie in the history and philosophy of Mathematics and Physics as well as Pure Mathematics.

I am also fond of teaching.  I teach introductory computer programming to gap year students who are at Penn and also teach the same subject for LPS.
