The New Astrophysics Site

This site is devoted to information related to the new
astronomy/astrophysics that recognizes the existence of hydrogen dominated aggregates... cosmoids... the universal dark matter.

PREFACE

These verses from the 16th chapter of the Book of Exodus relate how the children of Israel, wandering in the wilderness, found, in the hour of their need, a substance which they had never encountered, manna (literally: "what is it?") from on high. It provided sustenance when sorely needed. We chose this quote to open because this site is about another substance from the sky: what is the dark matter of the universe? Knowledge also sustains.

Are you one who believes that astrophysics, as presently taught, is a valid depiction of the nature of stars, galaxies and the cosmos? Do you make the tacit assumption, despite ignorance of the physical form of more than 90% of universal mass, that this overwhelming population's only manifestation is in the orbits of stars and galaxies? Do you trust that a continuing series of minor theory modifications will someday explain newly observed phenomena that puzzle and confound?

If the description fits then we suggest you stop reading here. No argument, even one resting upon a firm foundation of observation and experiment, will change your opinion. If, however, you are troubled by the many inconsistencies and inexplicables introduced by recent observations and believe that a fundamental change in the way we think about our Sun, stars and the universe is overdue, then open your mind to manna and proceed.

Following are the TABLE OF CONTENTS, INTRODUCTION and OVERVIEW of a book "DARK MATTER ILLUMINATED" that I, a former Air Force and NASA rocket and spacecraft experiment Principal Investigator (e.g., Pioneer 10 & 11) have written with Maurice Dubin, a former NASA Headquarters Program Director. Over 80 man years of (our) effort went into compiling the data and conclusions therein. It is available now at http://www.buybooksontheweb.com/description.asp?ISBN=0-7414-0649-7, http://www.barnesandnoble.com and http://www.amazon.com.

If after reading these 2 (of 18) chapters, you wish to express your opinion or learn more be sure to read the EPILOGUE and Email us.

COSMOIDS: A contraction of cosmic meteoroids, these ubiquitous, structurally weak, cold, molecular hydrogen dominated, low albedo multi-meter sized aggregates comprise the universal 'dark matter.'
