About me:
I am a post-doctoral research associate in the Department of Physics & Astronomy, University of Pennsylvania. I got my PhD in 2009 from the Institute of Computational Cosmology in Durham University. Before that, I have got a B.S. in Applied Physics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2004. Then I got a M. S. in Astrophysics in the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2006. Please turn to my CV for more details.
Research:
I am interested in many things in cosmology, in particular,
1) large-scale structure -- using simulations and galaxy surveys to probe cosmology,
2) weak gravitational lensing,
3) CMB secondary effects -- Integrated Sachs-Wolfe (ISW) effect, Rees-Sciama effect, etc.,
4) the epoch of reionization -- in particular the 21-cm emission from neutral hydrogen.
I have been working towards using large galaxy surveys to probe dark energy. I am associated with the Dark Energy Survey. I was also involved in constructing mock galaxy catalogues for Pan-STARRS. For details of my research please turn to my publications below.
