Call for Papers: "Globalization, Economic Liberalization and the Role of Women..", 09/02

A Conference on Globalization, Economic Liberalization and the Role of Women in Economic Growth and Development in Africa: The Challenge for the 21st Century. Hosted by Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, NC, Friday through Sunday September 6-8 2002.

Keynote Addresses to be delivered by Elizabeth Asiedu (The University of Kansas) and William Darity Jr. (UNC-Chapel Hill).

Paper Proposal deadline is July 15th 2001.

Selected participants will be notified by January 15th 2002. Papers are due March 15th 2002.

Selected papers will be published in an edited volume.

Hotel accommodations and meals will be provided. However, travel arrangements are to be made and paid for by each participant.
