Jake Morton served as TA for the Penn-in-Athens program in May and June 2016. He then worked on the Mazi Archaeological Project in Southwestern Attica along the Boiotian border in June and July. Notable work done this season includes mapping forts and towers along the 5th and 4th century BC Attic border, as well as intensive and extensive survey to understand the habitation patterns in the Mazi plain from the Neolithic to the present day.
