Department of AnthropologyDr. Meredith Small, Visiting Scholar in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania and Professor Emerita in Anthropology from Cornell University, has been name 2018-2019 Associate Scholar for the Wolf Humanities Center. The Wolf Humanities Center is the university's main hub for interdisciplinary humanities research and public programming, and next academic year the center will be examining the relationship of material culture to the human condition in its Forum on Stuff. Dr. Small will be adding to the discussion through her recent research on the significance of Venetian matrerial culture throughout time.
