I am primarily interested in the connection between programming language and natural language and how computer program realizes language ideology. My project brings semiotic interpretation of programming to specific applications in info-tech industry and analyzes the formulation of technological artifacts in social life. I am currently looking into blockchain technology and artificial intelligence in the sociopolitical context of mainland China. I am also interested in examining financialization and its mathematical foundation in the framework of semiotics and cultural anthropology. I speak Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese and write Python, Java, C (Basic).
