Self-serve video recording room for
American Sign Language Courses

This room includes a self-operated video recording system that records directly to DVD-R media. The room is located in Multi-Media Services, in the basement of DRL. It is typically used by students in American Sign Language classes.

  1. When you come to do your recording, please be sure to bring a blank DVD-R disc. (It’s not a bad idea to bring a spare, too.) You can buy them at Computer Connection or Penn Bookstore. Be sure that you DO NOT get a DVD+R; that’s a different format, and will not work.

  2. When you arrive at Mutli-Media Services, see the attendant at the reception desk. They will open the recording room for you, and help you get setup.
  3. When finished, please see the attendant so the room can be locked up.
  4. If you have problems making a reservation, please send mail to reserve@sas.upenn.edu
