Updated message (March 5, 2019)

As of March 5, 2019, the wireless network formerly known as "AirPennNet-Help" has now changed to "Connect to AirPennNet".

Updated message (January 24, 2017)

On January 4, ISC upgraded the Cloudpath package on AirPennNet-Help to version 5.0.592, the latest version. The new version is fully functional on all currently supported versions of the operating system at the University, and automatically incorporates a workaround profile in both the Macintosh client and the iOS profiles.

Previously, a workaround profile had to be installed on macOS and iOS versions later than 10.12.1 and 10.1 respectively (see previous message, appended below).

Please also note that while the newest Cloudpath client fully supports Android 7.0, we have seen instances on the newer Pixel phones where the device does not properly associate the .netconfig file downloaded from AirPennNet-Help with the Cloudpath app. Should this happen, you can manually tell the Cloudpath client to load the configuration file by selecting "Manual Configuration URL" and specifying the "android.netconfig" file at the prompt. ("http://airpennnet-help.net.isc.upenn.edu/android.netconfig" should also work) Instructions to this effect are included within the AirPennNet-Help wizard.

Apple has released macOS version 10.12.1 and iOS version 10.1, which Information Systems & Computing (ISC) determined the update may break your connection with AirPennNet. Multiple bug reports to Apple were submitted and working with their engineers, ISC has determined that the way these operating system updates address security certificates is the source of the problem. As a workaround, ISC has developed a configuration file that loads certificates in a different manner and will allow affected systems to authenticate to AirPennNet.  Instructions for configuring your devices running macOS 10.12 and iOS 10 can be found here.
