Two papers co-authored by postdoc Raffa Bernardello and faculty Irina Marinov were just published in Nature Climate Change and the Journal of Climate, and are getting the attention of the press. The papers discuss the cessation of Southern Ocean deep sea convection due to climate warming, and the implications of climate change for ocean carbon storage, and can be found at:
