Who's Afraid of Killer Robots? How Robotics, 3-D Printing and Other Innovations Will Affect the Future of War

Penn Lightbulb Cafe

Associate Professor of Political Science Michael Horowitz will draw on his extensive research on military innovation, as well as his recent experience working in the Department of Defense, to discuss key trends and technologies that will shape the future of warfare. From robots to lasers, the talk will focus on the challenges and opportunities for the U.S. and the world as the Information Age continues to shape the potential tools available for military use.

Expert faculty from the University of Pennsylvania shed light on their research in the arts, humanities, and social sciences at the Penn Lightbulb Café. It's an evening of engaging, stimulating conversation, with a Q&A session following each talk.

Penn Café events are free and open to the public, but RSVPs are encouraged. Contact Gina Bryan at 215-898-8721 or email
