Congratulations to Romain Delaville, for winning the 2017 “Prix recherche au présent” award for best graduate paper presented at the 20th and 21st-Century French and Francophone Studies International Conference this past April in Bloomington, Indiana; his paper was entitled “Révérien Rurangwa et le délit de sale gueule."

The French and Francophone Studies Section would also like to congratulate Nathalie Lacarriere, who has been awarded the 2017 departmental Teaching Award for Excellence in Teaching French - graduate student category.
