Trask Roberts

Ph.D. Candidate, French and Francophone Studies

Trask Roberts is currently a PhD candidate in French Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to beginning his doctoral work at Penn he received his undergraduate degree in French and Economics from Dartmouth College and a master’s degree in French Literature from the University of Minnesota. While a student at the University of Minnesota he spent a year at the Université de Montpellier III- Paul Valéry as a lecteur teaching courses on American civilization and literature. His primary research interests include 20th century French literature, translation theory, and the engagement of economic theory with French and Francophone literature.
