The Northeast Modern Language Association has selected Ian Fleishman's first book manuscript, An Aesthetics of Injury: The Narrative Wound from Baudelaire to Tarantino, as the winner of their 2015 Book Prize.

The award was presented at the closing reception of the NeMLA Convention in Toronto at the beginning of May.
