APC Podcast 2.4: Kelli Dunham

Stand up comic and person of many hats, Kelli Dunham, discusses the politics and role of comedy when dealing with experiences which aren't so funny on the surface. In this episode, Kelli discusses using comedy as a tool of easing social tension, pedagogy,  opening up conversation, confronting and challenging hateful stereotypes as well as building bridges to otherwise unreachable people and places. Kelli also considers the importance of radical queer storytelling and joking around when it comes to hardship in interpersonal relationships.
