"The Pros and Cons of Feminist Flagging"
In this interactive workshop we'll discuss the impact of course titles and disciplinary codes (GSWS, ENG etc). How do they influence who enrolls what kinds of learning expectations students have? How do they influence our teaching? What does feminist pedagogy look like in classes not flagged as overtly addressing issues of gender or sexuality?
