Assistant Professor of Romance Languages

Nineteenth century Latin American Literature and theory. Her research focuses on the problems of representation and aesthetics in Modernismo and Naturalismo. She is also interested in the relation between Romanticism and Colonial Literature. She has published a book about the works of Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega. She is currently doing research about fantastic literature in Romanticism and Modernismo.
