I received my bachelor’s in Spanish and Classics from Bates College and studied literature for a semester at the Universidad de Chile in Santiago. I recently finished a graduate assistantship and a master’s at Fordham University’s Center for Medieval studies. My undergraduate thesis treated conversion and storytelling in the works of Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala and El Inca Garcilaso de la Vega. More recently, I have written about the role of authorship and recreation in La Crónica Sarracina, a fifteenth-century work of chivalry.
