ITAL110 - ELEMENTARY ITALIAN I

Section Description: 
Italian 110, or Beginning Itaian 1, is an introductory course for students who have never studied Italian before. Classes are conducted in Italian and emphasize the development of communicative skills and conversational competence. Learners will engage in meaningful tasks and interactive activities, inside and outside the classroom. Students will be exposed to authentic cultural materials, such as films, video clips, songs, and literature. Class work will be supplemented with homework in the course texts, as well as with accompanying assignments provided by the instructor. In class students will have abundant opportunities to speak as a class, in pairs, small groups, and with the instructor. Throughout the semester, students will develop your listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills.
