I graduated in Italian Literature from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2004, and received a Doctorate in Italianistica from the University of Macerata in 2008. I moved to Philadelphia in 2009, where I earned a Graduate Certificate in Cinema Studies (2013) and a Ph.D. in Italian Studies (2015) from the University of Pennsylvania.
