The James Joo-Jin Kim Program in Korean Studies will award one (1) first-year Ph.D. student in SAS a full fellowship for the 2018–19 academic year. Covering first-year tuition, fees, stipend, and health insurance, this fellowship helps the Kim Program, as an interdisciplinary group, to recruit a deserving doctoral student in Korean studies to Penn.
