March 27 - 4 PM to 7 PM - Penn Nursing will host a screening and discussion of, "Clinica de Migrantes: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." Location: Claire M. Fagin Hall, Auditorium. Light refreshments will be served. 

March 29 - 12 PM to 1:20 PM - Join us for a presentation by Carlos de la Torre, "Trump's Populism: Lessons from Latin America." Location: Perry World House. 

March 31 - 3:30 PM - Stephanie Kirk, Associate Professor of Spanish, Comparative Literature, and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (affiliate). Professor Kirk will give a talk for a more informed audience (LALSES) based on the first chapter of her most recent book, which studies the gender politics of the library and print in Colonial Latin America. Invited by Dr. Jorge Tellez. Location: Cherpack Seminar Room, Williams Hall 543. 

April 4 - 12 PM to 1:30 PM - Ericka Beckman, Associate Professor of Romance Languages, will conduct the next LALSIS seminar. Location: Silverstein forum of Stiteler Hall.

April 5 - 2 PM -  Maristella Svampa, Argentine sociologist, writer and researcher. She is the Principal Investigator of the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (Conicet). She will host a LALSES seminar. Location: Silverstein forum of Stiteler Hall.
