LALS 25th Anniversary Celebration Photos

On Friday, April 4th 2014, the Latino American and Latino Studies Program celebrated its 25th anniversary in the Arch Building Auditorium at Penn.  LALS traces its origin to 1988 when Nancy Farriss (Professor of History) and a group of other faculty members pitched the idea to successfully launch a program initially called Latin American Cultures.  Since then, LALS has grown to become a major center for the study of Latin American culture and civilization at Penn.
