Charline S. Russo has held executive positions in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and has built worldwide learning and development organizations, establishing Global Learning Centers of Excellence for research and development organizations. She served as Chair, Board of Directors, for NJ Women’s Network, a professional development network of women executives in higher education.

Charline’s scholarship and practice interests include coaching as a leadership competency and strategic process for individual and organizational growth and development as well as appreciative inquiry as an affirmative organizational change process. Charline’s consulting practice centers on individual and organizational effectiveness, specifically focusing on employer-employee relationships for improved effectiveness. Her expertise includes executive coaching, knowledge management, team and organizational effectiveness, leadership development, large-scale organizational and individual change initiatives, and leading Post Merger Integration.

Charline received her BA in history and psychology and MBA from Rutgers University, her MA and EdD in organizational leadership by Columbia University, and a certificate in leadership education from the John F. Kennedy School, Harvard University. Charline is the co-author of Cohort Programming and Learning for Adults: Improving Educational Experiences for Adult Learners and a contributor to Complex Situations in Coaching: A Critical Case-Based Approach. In 2018, she was honored with Penn’s Award for Distinguished Teaching in Professional Graduate Programs.
