Economics and social norms

A lead economist in the World Bank's Development Research Group, Dr. Hoff teaches the Master of Behavioral and Decision Sciences core course, Social Norms and Informal Institutions. Much of her work focuses on using the tools of economics to study social interactions. She has a PhD in Economics from Princeton University and a bachelor's degree from Wellesley College.
