Ibrahim Bakri

Academic Coordinator

Ibrahim Bakri is the Academic Coordinator of the Middle East Center at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a Non Resident Fellow in International Relations & Development at TRENDS Research & Advisory. A Penn graduate, Ibrahim has served as a summit coordinator at the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program. In this capacity he helped coordinate two Middle East and North Africa Think Tank Summits, focusing on regional dialogue and communication. He also led a research team focused on the influence of think tanks and research on public policy within MENA. He has previously interned for the Foreign Policy Research Institute in Philadelphia, working within the Program on the Middle East. Ibrahim graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics in 2018.
