Our November 10th concert will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the World War I Armistice by exploring these difficult questions: What is the meaning of peace? How can we create peace that engenders peace? What seeds were sown by the Armistice, and what seeds are we sowing today? Featuring interwar music by Francis Poulenc, Gideon Klein, Mordechai Gebirtig, and others, alongside selections from a 2013 choral song cycle by the contemporary composer Andrew Maxfield.
