The Daedalus Quartet Discuss Their 2017 Performance of George Crumb's "Black Angels" at the Penn Museum

The Daedalus Quartet, Penn's internationally renowned string-quartet-in-residence, will be featured on "Made at Avaloch" on Avaloch Farm Music Institute's YouTube channel on Friday, August 28 at 8pm EDT.  They are sharing a film of their 2017 performance of George Crumb's "Black Angels" at the Penn Museum, and discussing their experience putting the piece together. ‘Quartet Caroling’ at the Newburyport Music Festival curated by David Yang

Director of Penn Chamber, David Yang is also the Artistic Director of Newburyport Chamber Music Festival for 2020. In response to COVID-19 restrictions, Yang organized what he calls 'Quartet Caroling,' which involved traveling quartets that played in a few neighborhoods in Massachusetts.
