Fifth Year Graduate Student in Composition
103, Music Building

I live in Philadelphia as a PhD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, creating experimental music for performers and electronics. My work connects formal and sonic aspects of recent popular music with classical performance practice and sound art. I have worked with performers and ensembles across the United States and Europe, including the Daedalus Quartet, PRISM, Uusinta Ensemble (FIN), Quatuor Bozzini (CAN), LAPS (BEL), Omaha Symphony, Bearthoven, ICon Arts (ROU), Nicholas Isherwood (FRA), and Marilyn Nonken. In 2014-15, I was a visiting scholar at the Sibelius Academy on a Jane and Aatos Erkko fellowship from the American-Scandinavian Foundation. Recent and upcoming projects involve work with electronics, lighting, and video.
