Upcoming 2013 Political Science Workshops Announced

The department is pleased to announce its winter and spring Political Science Workshops.  The workshops intend to bring energetic scholars engaged in substantively interesting and methodologically varied projects in the fields of comparative politics, American politics, political theory and international politics to a Penn audience.

Below is a tentative announcement of the upcoming workshops for the spring semester. Please consult the individual event listings on the department website calendar for changes as the workshops near.

Workshops are typically held in the Silverstein Forum at Stiteler Hall, and lunch or refreshments are served.

January 24, 2013 - Comparative Politics Workshop: Cathie Jo Martin, Boston University.

January 31, 2013 - Browne Center for International Politics Workshop: David Bearce, University of Colorado at Boulder. 

February 7, 2013 - Browne Center for International Politics Workshop: Susan Hyde, Yale University.

February 7, 2013 - Political Theory Workshop: Shatema Threadcraft, Rutgers University.

February 8, 2013 - American Politics Workshop: Frances Lee, University of Maryland. 

February 22, 2013 - Comparative Politics Workshop: Calvin Chen, Mt. Holyoke College. 

February 28, 2013 - Comparative Politics Workshop (rescheduled from the Fall): Stuart Kaufman, University of Delaware.

March 1, 2013 - American Politics Workshop: Bryan Jones, University of Texas. 

March 14, 2013 - Browne Center for International Politics Workshop: Kristof Pelc, Georgetown University.

March 22, 2013 - American Politics Workshop: Frank Baumgartner, University of North Carolina.
