Although we are busiest during March and November, we run a
number of studies throughout the year. if you have a PennKey, you
can also look for ways to participate in University of
Pennsylvania research studies on Experiments@Penn.
Call
for Postdoctoral Applications: Applications are invited
for a postdoctoral fellowship working on a collaborative project
with Prof. Joe Kable in the Department of Psychology and Prof.
Dave Wolk in the Department of Neurology at the University of
Pennsylvania. Funded by the National Institutes of Aging, and
located in the Penn Memory Center, the project seeks to examine
how social and non-social decision-making linked to different
forms of memory declines with age and is associated with
preclinical Alzheimer’s Disease. The project will link
experimental behavioral measures and functional MRI with molecular
PET and structural imaging biomarkers of preclinical Alzheimer’s
Disease. Previous experience with imaging, aging and/or
decision-making research is preferable but not necessary. The
ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in neuroscience, psychology or
related field, strong computational skills, and a strong record of
previous research. Penn offers an outstanding research environment
and this position provides an exciting opportunity to work in a
collaborative team science environment. The initial appointment
would be for two years. Start date is flexible. Inquiries or
applications should be directed to Joe Kable
(kable@psych.upenn.edu). Applicants should include a cover letter
describing their research interests and career plans, CV, and
contact information for three references.

donor, the project seeks to examine the behavioral and neural
effects of neuromodulation with rTMS on perspective taking, delay
discounting and selfishness measured with behavioral assays and
TMS/fMRI readouts. Previous experience with fMRI, brain
stimulation, neuroeconomics and/or decision-making research is
preferable but not necessary. The ideal candidate will have a
