Research Interests
I am interested in studying catalysis especially on the non-stoichiometric reconstructed surfaces of metal oxides. My current research includes DFT investigation of surface thermodynamics and kinetics as a function of polarization in perovskite-type ferroelectric oxides, and exploration of the mechanism of industrially important chemical reactions involving small molecules (e.g. epoxidation, water splitting, and CO2 reduction) on reconstructed surfaces of oxides.
