Hector Kilgoe studies religion, race, and politics, with particular interest in Black Nationalism, formations of Black identities, and the role of religious leaders and organizations in protest movements.  He received his MTS degree in African and African American Religious Studies from Harvard Divinity School, where he was a Junior fellow in the Science, Religion, and Culture Program.  Hector received his BA in Religious Studies, with minors in Jewish Studies and East Asian Languages and Civilizations, from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar.
