Jennifer Tsou, C'89, a former student of international and East Asian studies at Penn--and fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, Thai, and Spanish--is a familiar face to nearly 222 million Asian viewers of Star TV's Travel Asia. Besides hosting the Asian travel show, she is a DJ on 95.5 FMX, a popular-music radio station in Bangkok, and has recorded a solo album/CD, Lonely Struggles. She has also anchored IBC Action News, Thailand's top-rated English language news program. Tsou will be the Chinese emcee and guest singer for the Heineken Music Festival, China's first "techno music festival," which will tour through 27 cities in China from June to September. As emcee, Tsou will provide a cultural bridge for the western bands performing at the festival.

Chuck Mitchell, C'75, is the editorial director for The Conference Board, a New York-based economic and business research organization focusing on the social responsibilities of global corporations. Members include senior executives from more than 2,900 enterprises in over 60 nations. Mitchell's career reporting news overseas has taken him to Africa and the Middle East. He later became the UPI bureau chief in Moscow during the glasnost and perestroika era. After serving as foreign editor for the Detroit Free Press, he joined Worldbusiness magazine as senior editor for Europe and the Middle East. Mitchell is author of two books, with a third scheduled for publication in the fall. He invites his College friends to get in touch (mitchellc@conference-board.org).
