Course Description: 

This course, designed for professionals and non-law students, will examine the fundamentals of business law. The course will focus on the core legal issues faced by those working in any business, in a variety of roles.  Topics include contracts, employment law, business organizations and governance, and intellectual property.  Students will gain a solid understanding of the many legal issues at play in making a variety of business decisions. At the course’s conclusion, students will be able to recognize potential legal issues in their current and future work and evaluate any offered advice.
