Visual Studies students awarded 2018 summer research grants

This summer, the Visual Studies program has awarded one independent research project and two on-campus internship to Visual Studies majors. Natasha Cheung will travel to Hong Kong to study and analyze Hong Kong’s Visual Material Culture, as it manages its continued evolution. Caroline Miller is aiding Associate Director Ian Verstegen to prepare his book, Federico Barocci and the Science of Drawing in Early Modern Italy, for publication. Jessica Moh is working with Prof. David Comberg to build the site for the Common Press – the collaboration between the Penn Libraries, Kelly Writers House and Penn Fine Arts.
