Infinity

There definitely is an infinite variety of sounds; even the same speaker saying the same sound over and over makes minute differences, or even some perceptible differences. But these do not make any difference most of the time; if they are perceived they may be thought of socially different or made for some effect but do not make a difference in meaning.
