Individual oral tutorial sessions 1. Warm-up: answer some
questions about §
your dinner last night §
your favorite Chinese dishes. Describe
them (taste) briefly when prompt. 2.
Role play: you are a 服务员 (waiter/waitress)
in Beijing 饭馆 (Beijing Restaurant), and your老师 is your customer. Greet your
customer, and ask what dishes and drinks s/he would like to order. Recommend
the house specials (hot-and-sour soup
and sweet and sour fish), and
describe their taste and ingredients. At the end, sum up what your customer
ordered, give price of each dish and the total amount. Here is the menu:
