Individual tutorial sessions

1.      Read the dialogue from Line 1 to Line 9 (…请坐,请坐.) (TB p. 120, character version)

2.      Prepare to inform your 老师 of the following when being asked:

a)      What you did last weekend

b)      When you did these activities (date and time)

c)      Where you did these activities 

d)     Who did you go with (我和X)

e)      What happened at the events (met someone, chatted with friends, etc. Use “一起” when you can.)

f)       Food and drink consumption at the events and quantity (how many cups/bottles)

   Note:

  • Use the particlewhen applicable.
  • Pay particular attention to word order.

3.      Ask your 老师what he/she did last weekend. Use the above questions as a guide.

Homework: 1) Listening: WB pp.63-64 & pp.69-70; 2) Translation: WB pp.68-69 & pp.75-76. Please write BOTH pinyin and characters when doing translation.
