I am a cognitive neuroscientist interested in how humans acquire concepts and categories, how these concepts become represented in the mind and brain, and how these concepts are flexibly used in language and thought.

My research uses behavioral, neuroimaging, and computational methods to ask related questions about semantic learning and memory.

I completed my PhD in Psychology in 2019 with Dr. Sharon Thompson-Schill at the University of Pennsylvania. I am currently a Postdoc at the University of Pennsylvania working with Dr. Anna Schapiro. Starting Fall 2024, I will be an Assistant Professor in the Psychology department at Binghamton University.
