About the Test

You will be tested for all the four language skills - speaking, listening, reading and writing.

SPEAKING: There will be a 15 to 20 minutes of a face-to-face oral interview involving lingusitic fucntions such as question-answer, description, narration, comparison and opinion.

LISTENING: There will be multiple choice and open-ended questions testing your comprehension of main ideas and details of recorded native speech such as conversations, announcements, news broadcasts.

READING: There will be multiple choice and open-ended questions testing your comprehension of main ideas and details of authentic written materials such personal letters, short stories and news articles.

WRITING: You will be asked to write 2 or 3 paragraphs of guided or free composition on a topic familiar to you written during the course of an hour.
