Yes. We have had many students go on to Ph.D. programs after MAPP. Students interested in going on to a Ph.D. should note that MAPP can provide a valuable background to the field of positive psychology but does not provide formal research training. For this reason, completing MAPP in and of itself will not likely be sufficient for entry into a Ph.D. program. Students should check with the Ph.D. programs to which they plan to apply to see if they meet the admissions requirements of those specific programs, as well as to see if MAPP credits can be transferred towards their Ph.D.
